When you think about the amount of special editions that a brand can do, you think about Lamborghini. Since when the Gallardo arrived in 2003, Lamborghini made a countless amount of special editions. Just to be clear, they have recently announced the 5th special edition of the Gallardo. Ehm, not the 5th in general, but it's the 5th made in 2012!
It's called Gallardo LP550-2 GZ8 Limited Edition and the 8 units that will be produced will be available just for the chinese market. If you're wondering, GZ stands for chinese city Guangzou and 8 is considered a lucky number in the chinese culture. What does the GZ8 differs from the standard LP550-2 Balboni?
On the outside it shows orange Callisto wheels, SuperTrofeo and engine bonnet wing, LP570-4 side stripes style, a new front bumper. The interior doesn't look much different from a standard LP560-4, except for the stitchings that reminds you that you're driving a limited edition. If you want to be one of the 8 owners, be ready to spend 470.000€.
Specs of the car are still the same of the standard LP550-2 Balboni, same V10 5.2L with 550hp, top speed 320kph and 0-100 in 3.9s.
